Why do some people like people that are fiesty?

My best friend got fiesty and one of my cousins (girl said) "Ooh she is fiesty. I like it. I've never seen her fiesty side."
I don't understand. My cousin tells me I'm the opposite of fiesty and I'm WAY too nice and a lot of people avoid me.

Too nice means you let people walk all over you and you haven't found who you really are.
As far as being feisty at times, that's showing your truth. And not being a mediocre part of the herd.
@Peaceful Why do people like fiesty people more.

@PoppyLoveLala they are more real.
@Peaceful So I'm not real?!

@PoppyLoveLala nice people want to be accepted by everyone. Unfortunately, people see through it. Be you.
@Peaceful I am being me. I tried so hard but people seems annoyed and get away from me. My best friend is fiesty, not so nice and she seems to be liked more.

@PoppyLoveLala because she comes across as real.
@Peaceful is that all?

@PoppyLoveLala real is everything. 🤔

@Peaceful The only thing is some ppl ARE genuinely very nice. Some do it because if they didn't, they could have been beaten or abused, so they began to treat everyone kindly. Some because they know the opposite..that it feels awful to be ignored or around those who are serious, critical. I get what you mean though, if someone is. BEYOND nice, yes it comes off maybe as not as real. And yet, who is anyone to say someone isn't as real as the next? Someone feisty or outspoken could be doing it for drama, a status etc. My sister once told me the 'popular' girls in her HS once told another student they couldn't be part of their circle because they were not rude enough...😦 So the opposite can play out too

@Coralmist I never said it couldn't. But as you stated becoming nice is a means of protection and inclusion. Problem is, people innately recognize that on an energetic level and avoid you as not being authentic. Nice and kind are worlds apart.

@Peaceful I think sometimes it's a means of inclusion, just as rude or feisty could be. Yet both people are as real as anything. My fave author Byron Katie said, 'No one has ever met another person.' meaning that everyone only sees THEIR PERCEPTION of you, not the true you.

@Coralmist energy doesn't lie. If you're insecure and trying to be nice to everyone it is felt.
