Do you always apologize after an argument?

If you have a major argument with someone who is close to you, do you physically tell them that you are sorry, or do you both just laugh it off and forget it? 馃

@TwiddlerofThumbs same with my abuser, who would NEVER apologize even if he acknowledged his actions were wrong, mean, abusive. He just wasn't ever sorry.
