@Zoranna I just saw the second part of your question, which I therefore neglected to answer. They used to affect my daily life in a very negative fashion to put it charitably. I walked away from these people feeling violated.
@Bitabyss I can't walk away but it's not that bad in my situation, I can switch off and come home. It's not a partner, which if it had been I too would definitely have walked away.
@Zoranna My partner has an NPD mother and a BPD elder sister, so she can definitely relate. She recently went no contact with both of them and it's been hard, even though it was necessary.
