Why are Native American problems barely talked about when this is their country

If you go back in history, you will hardly find a place that hasn't been conquered by someone. France is called France because it was conquered by Germanic (!!) tribes, the "Francs".

@helenS no, indigenous people are those who lived there first. You can be a born citizen of a country but it doesn't make you indigenous. An Armenian is indigenous to Armenian, they settled it first and lived there thousands of years before the Turks came for example.

@basilfawlty89 that's a beautiful thought but everyone came from someplace else. Romantic thoughts of benevolent natives of what we call the Americas being a single "Indian nation" is wrong. Humans move and fight. That is the reality. Natives did this amongst themselves. Europeans did this amongst themselves and then when the two met they fought each other for control of the same piece of the planet.

It's a fact they don't recognize it and have never paid reparations. There is no statute of limitations on the crime of genocide.
