Someone on YouTube is accusing me of harassment and threatened to call the police on me! help??

I didn't do anything. Someone falsely accused me of harassment and bullying and they said their cousin is on the phone with the police. This person told me to tell the truth and I told them I didn't do anything. Do you think the law enforcement and youtube will do anything about it? I'm afraid that when I get back from my trip to England, I'm going to get arrested for something I didn't do. They're trying to track me down and I'm so scared! I had to delete my account. They said they found my other channel which I haven't used since 2014. I'm scared to death!!!! 馃槰馃槰馃槰馃槰馃槰馃槵馃槵馃槵馃槵

No, it isn't serious. They're just fucking with you. Even if she were to call the police, unless you made a clear and imminent threat of violence, the police aren't going to do anything. Hell, even if you did make a threat of violence, the police are unlikely to do anything.

@MotherlessDaughter01 Is your real name/address/any means of knowing where you live attached to your YouTube accounts at all?

@MotherlessDaughter01 Well, then how are the police going to find you? They could track down your email address, but then they'd have to get a warrant to get the information from your provider. No police force is going to go to that trouble for a YouTube commenter who gets her panties in a twist because of an online comment. You're worrying about nothing.

@MotherlessDaughter01 They can track it to your Internet provider. They'd have to get that information from your provider, and they may well need to get a warrant to do that. They're not going to go to the trouble.

@MotherlessDaughter01 Unless you have a dedicated IP address in your home, your IP address is probably assigned from a pool that your internet provider has. You can trace an IP address to whatever organization or individual has it registered to them. And your IP provider may or may not be able to determine which of its customers has a particular IP address.
