Should it be a suspicious thing if somebody goes to buy a plane or bus ticket without bringing any bags at all?

You sound like you're referring to that stowaway who snuck on planes at O'Hare Airport. She and her husband were caught and arrested several times, and, after her husband passed, she did it herself. Once or twice, she made it to the plane's destination (I think it was London once) and she was arrested and sent back to jail. She had been ordered to stay away from the gates and she did it anyway. She's under a court order now to stay away from O'Hare or Midway - we'll see how long that works.

@MaryJanine What was that all about? Why did the stowaway stow away?

From what I gather, she and her husband (later her) did it for the thrill of getting on the plane without a ticket and going somewhere. More than once. That's on the order of those "wedding-reception crashers" who appear in the couples' wedding reception pictures later and nobody knows who they are - just what they can get away with.

@MaryJanine Oh, I see. Well, they should have thought about the possible consequences, shouldn't they? If they choose to live dangerously, they should be prepared for whatever consequences come their way.
