who counts Calories ? , to me thats like buying Drinking Mineral Water , why ? , don't you have Water at home ?

calories are not a true reflection of how much energy you burn or store. Metabolism can be increased if you eat more fats of certain types & proteins. Some carbs are high in fiber and those fibers have calories yet they can be resistant fibers that don’t make you gain weight, or the type of fiber that doesn’t break down and is eliminated as roughage. If you heat wheat bread and eat it warm it’ll give more energy because you’ve broken down the resistant starch and it gets digested and absorbed.. If you freeze a loaf of bread for a month & thaw it out you get more resistant starch and much less digested as a result.
