I would say that's pretty logical but I'm the one who said that, lol. But I can only wonder why that bothers you so much. 🤔

@Carver Doesn't bother me. I just didn't want to have to argue. Left it to the general opinion

@RemovedUsername553523 A person of high intellect would have enough control over their sexual desires while perverts have no control over theirs. They're not intelligent enough to maintain such control. A highly intelligent person can be sexual in nature, absolutely, but there's a difference between that and being a pervert.

@Carver That's ridiculous. being intelligent and controlling yourself are very different things
Carver · 31-35, F
@RemovedUsername553523 You don't have to agree. 🤷♀️

@SW-User Ditto.

@Carver It's all opinion.
Consider this: Our mind runs us, yes? It is what makes us do anything. It can't see though. It can't hear, can't feel, etc. It only has some signals sent to it, then it has to do the best it can with what it knows to create sound and image out of these signals. Take one thing away, and maybe they have a powerful mind, but they aren't seeing the world as it is. Assuming any of us can at all

@SW-User Debatable, sure. I'll give you that one. But I stand by my views and think the views of a lot of other people disagreeing with this are a bit skewed. In my opinion, of course.

SW-User
@Carver What you're saying is bad though. You are very likely to misjudge a pervert, or worse, condemn intelligence because it has perversions. This can have very real effects on others. I don't ask that you change your mind. I know the futility. I just ask that you open your mind to more possibilities. Truly consider them on a deep level. Never allow yourself to be bogged down in what was once known. We learn and we grow. Without that, we may as well just die

@SW-User Lmao! If only you knew me, you would never be telling me any of this. I’m about as free-thinking and non-conformist as it gets, buddy. Could it be that I am actually very open-minded and have a well-informed opinion that you simply don’t agree with? 🤔

SW-User
@Carver Hm. Unlikely, as this question holds proof to the contrary. Read the answers
Carver · 31-35, F
@SW-User I have. I don’t agree with them and again, think a lot of them are from skewed perspectives (I.e. confusing sexual interests with perversion.) You’re not saying everyone disagreeing is proof that I’m wrong, are you? Come on, dude. You should be smart enough to know that argumentum ad populum is a logical fallacy.

SW-User
@Carver Then there's no point in us talking. This isn't evidence here. It's proof. You ignore that, so clearly this is not logical argument. Have fun with that ✌️
Carver · 31-35, F
@SW-User Nice. Who's being ridiculous now? 🙄

SW-User
@Carver Bye bye now.
You have a good one
