I work at a hospital. Itvis no easy task to maintain a germ free environment for doctors, nurses and patients yet we get little to no respect for it.
Is this can ER or a trauma room?
We are getting ready to open a new detention of our ER with many great features such as a trauma room, consultation room, an extra triage, an OD room with a bathroom that has a controlled toilet flush switch so the patient cannot flush the "evidence."
There are also 6 fast track rooms to accommodate more cases since many if our patients fit the fast track category. Our current area has 1 1/2 rooms so the wait for fast track cases is long.
How long have you been a nurse?
