Sure beats battling ice and snow. I sit by my pool looking at people stranded on the roads in blizzards on TV and wonder why anyone puts up with that. 馃槺

@kayle I'd take a blizzard over sweltering heat and humidity any day.

@DearAmbellina2113 Well they have this thing called "air conditioning". But I prefer warm temperatures- when I lived up north I dreaded each winter and counted the days until summer was back and I no longer had to wear coats and jackets and snow boots and shovel snow and all that crap.

@kayle air conditioning doesnt always help humidity. I'm in Houston, I know all about it.

@DearAmbellina2113 If it's working properly it should. As air is blown through the evaporator coil the cold causes the moisture to condense on the coil and drain down into a pan and from there out a drain. If this is not happening you need to have it fixed.

@kayle I got a brand new ac unit last year and I still have to use a dehumidifier on top of that. It might be because I am from Tennessee and used to drier air. I plan to move to New Mexico asap to escape this wet climate.
