Can anyone suggest any grammatically correct rap/hip hop?

I dont mind the swearing, glorification of violence, abject sexism, materialistic idolatry, and outright bragging but when I look at the back of a rap CD and read the songs, the spelling mistakes annoy me. Im pretty sure this is deliberate.

— Sure. These songs are written by professional writers. They write things that will sell. The most important point, to them, is a careful analysis of the likings of their customer base.

@helenS I doubt many rap albums would sell if the artist spoke like Alistair Cooke.

@chrisCA I believe writing these songs is a rather difficult task. It's not like simply spending a couple of weeks "in the ghetto", and listening to how pimps and drug dealers speak. That's because the audience (the customers) do not know how these guys speak. Rather the language used in the songs must match up with the customers' expections, the way the customers imagine ghetto language. You need a good professional writer to accomplish that task.

@helenS I would think any song is difficult to write regardless of the genre.
I grew up on a farm, but I probably could not write a Country song if my life depended on it. Lol
