Pre-existing opinions are kinda what we base life around.

They conflict. You could think person A is a bad person cause they cheated on their partner and you think cheating is bad. But you could have a pre-existing opinion of person B and like them. So if they cheated on their partner it's like whatever.

And your point is? That's pretty true. A lot of sayings we use today have been used going back to Adam and Eve, maybe worded slightly different, some say eye for eye, others say turnabout is fair play.
