Would you consider a house to be cursed if...

upon moving in, there would be 5 deaths (of pets/family members residing in the house) in 3 years?
My husband and I are arguing over this. I say it is cursed and he says the deaths would have occurred regardless. Also would the fact that the house does have a negative background change anything?

law of chance...curses aren't real.

Hauntings are real, just as spirits are, too. There definitely can be bad energy in a house. One place I lived had alot of paranormal activity.

I don't believe in curses..just coincidence..

It seems like if you believe in that sort of thing that there should also be a superstition belief to banish or cleanse or whatever negative unknown whatever from the thing or place you think it's got. Can't you use some chant or appeal to the good energy to fix it?
NineLives41-45, F
Yes, I want to do this.
I do think objects and houses can hold the negativity of the former owners. Negativity can seep into the walls, which is why some people get a heavy feeling when they enter some houses.

In order to answer this, I would need to know if you are basing your opinion of it being cursed solely upon the deaths that occurred, or other factors as well?
NineLives41-45, F
No, there have been other factors as well such as cases of extremely bad luck, that coincidentally occurred after moving here.

@NineLives: My opinion is that there are no such thing as coincidences. Everything happens for a reason, although we sometimes never know what that reason is. I base my opinion on the Law of Cause and Effect.
I don't believe that any person has the ability to put a curse on anything. I do believe that some places are riddled with negative energy. It sounds as if this is a possibility.
Again, just my opinion.
