I have never hated someone because of their name...but I have cringed before at hearing someone's name and it happened to be the same name as someone I did have a problem with or absolutely did not like. I always kept in mind that they didn't choose their name and that they aren't that other person, but I just didn't like their name. For example, I am not crazy about the names Crystal or Scott...nothing at all against everyone who has those names, but those were the names of my ex wife and the guy she cheated on me with and moved in with. Those names don't really bother me anymore, but I still don't really care for them.
