Do people still use HDD or spin disk to store data?

They are magnetic in nature and have a mechanical arm over a spinning disk. First introduced by IBM back in 1956. With the SSD and micro processor revolution, the only reason I could think anyone would use HDD is the cost. It’s 600 times cheaper than SSD, but HDD make lot of noise, its storage is magnetic which means data can be corrupted due to magnetic effect and even the data is not permanent as magnetic disk lose magnetism over time. They are like those cassettes used back in the day.
