If she hadn't died in 2008

I'd give an arm and or a leg to knock back some beers with Betty Page.
What a life she led! And what a legacy she left.

Recently did a post about her. Way ahead of her time and a cultural icon of the 1950s. Definitely was an influential figure. Sadly, things didn't go well for her after she quit modeling.

@Rutterman Well, she found the Lord. And posed tastefully with her bible.
Rutterman · 46-50, M
@Cavedweller She did, but she also struggled with mental illness. It's really unfortunate.

@Rutterman Agreed. In her younger years she was unfortunately raped: another woman coerced her into a car full of guys and did nothing to stop the atrocity.

@Cavedweller That's horrible. I knew she had been sexually assaulted by a group of men, but didn't know any of the details.
Cavedweller · 46-50, F
@Rutterman Yup. A woman made her feel safe and then totally fucking betrayed her.
I've got several of Betty's movies, including those she did with Tempest Storm. You would have seen her flicks?
Rutterman · 46-50, M
@Cavedweller No, but I'd like to. I've only seen a number of her photos.
Cavedweller · 46-50, F
@Rutterman Dude!! Her movies are the best of her era and type. Check out Teaseorama.

@Cavedweller All right. Will do. 🙂

@Rutterman I feel good that I've "passed the torch" so to speak. May you enjoy in the spirit she would have wanted you to.

@Cavedweller Thank you. I'm sure I will.

It's been a pleasure talking with you about this.
Cavedweller · 46-50, F
@Rutterman You too. ☺
