That's interesting... I get the opposite. S.A.D. seasonal affective disorder. Try to pay attention to it. Maybe you can figure out more specifically what is is about?

I get this way with spicy food. Makes me anxious. I used to love spicy food until I had a traumatic experience in emergency ward in Jan. Have you looked into Chinese medicine? They are tuned in to heat and cold in this way
Nope never tried it. What happened to you?

@Intrigued: I have a lot of other issues right now so I haven't been able to try TCM (traditional chinese meducine) for my stuff. Instead I am doing what's called ISTDP therapy...seems to really help. But also know that listening to my TCM guy talk, it seems they could really help with the sort of thing you describe...

Now that you mention this I have a very early childhood memory of such a thought. It was in the thick of summers heat. After reading this just now I was thinking how I usually loathe winter. yet you've now supplied a cause in me to reexamine my dis-appreciation in that season. I hope you're right about this.

I'd like to live somewhere where's it's rather mild year round, give me one or two weeks of summer, and the same for winter and I'd be fine.
I hate hot weather, too. I feel worse when it is muggy. I'd prefer a cold to mild weather all year round.
