I might hesistate for a second but do it anyway if it would save his life.
On the other hand I once attended to an accident where a pedestrian man was hit by a car. He clearly needed resuscitation but his face was covered in snot and yellow mucus. He died before the ambulance arrived. That snot and mucus was just too disgusting and far worse than any feeling of Homophobia.
