Straight guys, would you hesitate giving another guy mouth to mouth resuscitation?

DragonFruit · 61-69, M
I’m bisexual, but even if I wasn’t how could I be hesitant about trying to save another person’s life?
Life is too sacred to get caught up in what it “might look like” to someone else.

@DragonFruit true, it's just awkward when you wake up as soon as your mouths touch. That's what I did.

@Billybob2 But did you like it?

If it's a matter of life and death, then it shouldn't be

I wouldn’t hesitate.

I would prefer to have one of those medical devices that goes between (I know emt’s carry them).

I might hesistate for a second but do it anyway if it would save his life.
On the other hand I once attended to an accident where a pedestrian man was hit by a car. He clearly needed resuscitation but his face was covered in snot and yellow mucus. He died before the ambulance arrived. That snot and mucus was just too disgusting and far worse than any feeling of Homophobia.

No...and honestly I don’t understand how it’s a real thing.

Yes, for the same reasons I would hesitate to give a woman mouth to mouth resuscitation: one, I have no idea how to do it properly and would fear doing harm to the person, and two, I would be wary of whatever diseases the person might have.

To save his life, i wouldn't hesitate for an instant.

I don't do it because of DNRs and lawsuits.
