It seems that the benefit they see is to allow anyone who wants to come here to the United States to seek a better life, to do so. I don't have any problem with allowing immigrants to come here in seek of a better life. The place where their perspective differs from mine is that I believe that anyone immigrating to the US should follow our immigration laws. If we think our immigration laws need revision, then we should revise them using our legislative processes. Having an "open border" seems to allow people into our country without the need for them to follow our immigration laws, which leads to many subsequent issues.

Unless you're a Native American Indian, open borders is what allowed your ancestors to come to this country and raise your pompous, entitled ass.

AH yes the old fallacy that Democrats want an "open border" always good to see this fallacy trotted out when someone wants a reaction.
Get real.

It's much cheaper, and people surrender fewer of their rights to a poorly managed government bureaucracy.
