How do I say sorry without actually saying sorry?

Snapped at mum again. I had asked her to fill gas in the car coz it was almost empty. She forgot. I snapped at her when she returned and I forced her to get back in the car and fill gas and come back. Damn. Damn.
I mean I could have done it too when I left for piano class an hour later. Urgh.

How about just saying you’re sorry. My mom was diagnosed with brain cancer and died two months later. You never know when that last second will tick off leaving you with a lifetime of regret.

Well my example is extreme and hopefully will not be your situation, but it’s theoretically possible. I’ll be honest, if you can’t find it in you to stop snapping at her like that then any apology will be useless anyway. I did get frustrated with my mom often, so I’m not judging. Family can piss us off easier then anyone. @Heretodaygonetomorrow
