@SW-User well you can say that but the apple doesn't far from the tree and as humans we conduct lab/social experiments on animals. So who's to say we aren't exactly that for another life form?
There's no concrete proof of how we came into existence. In truth everything is a theory to a degree some of which has some supporting evidence. But we as society accept common beliefs. We always have.
