On what planet do people think that a PM just saying "Hi" when they have no stories or replies to view is going to get me to answer

If you want decent conversation, chances are you will need to message the person first. Someone who has a filled out profile and is interactive on posts.
And yes women do that as well and expect guys to magically come up with interesting things to say to keep the conversation going. Replying with "Lol" is NOT an acceptable way to reply. Unless you're just not interested in talking anymore! Class dismissed.

I think that depends on your mentality than anything. You never know what may come from it if you're open to opportunity :)

there are profiles of both genders that do that. I've received a few messages from women that had blank profiles too.

That's one thing it's another when they want to talk about spankings they give their kids or get from their parent.
