A lot of it is. Lymonnyk is Russian lemon pie and THAT is deilcious. Bliny are Russian extra thin pancakes, and those are really good too. Although avoid Russian kholodets. It's basically like meat gelatin, and it's gross.

I've always been curious to try it. I don't think I have any Russian cuisines near me. Also, something that I'm hesitant on trying it is that red soup?! I think it's called borche?!...ahhh may have spelled that wrong ;P

Oh yes, borscht. It's red because it's made with beets. It can be served hot or cold.

Ask PissAndVinegar if you wanna know the intracasies of Russian food. She's a Ruski, born in Yakutsk and still lives there. She should be able to help you.

Actually, kholodets is pretty good with horseradish.

I think it's awful.
