Some can be even more unhappy alone. An unhappy marriage is bound to affect the children though.

@PurpleHearts I and my siblings have sometimes blamed our parents for staying together, but its an extremely complicated issue. One point is that life has to include compromise.

They are happy together.

On their anniversary my mom places a photo album on the dining room table. Filled with pics of them from the time they started dating till when she had my brother, an then me.

They struggle but they love each-other.
