How to deal with mean people?

Generally, I keep my distance from people who act mean.

I put laxatives in their beverages.

Generally, the first time someone is mean, I will try to distance myself from them. If that is not possible, then I would be polite, but would not be friendly towards them.

I usually don't associate with mean or toxic people. I have too much positive going on to let them bring me down.

I avoid people like that like a plague...Depending on who they are, I might try to give them a chance and forge some kind of relationship, but there comes a point when you just have to realize these people won't change and it will never improve then move on (even if they are family members).

Remind yourself it is a reflection of them not of you.

I avoid them.
