Nope. I left when I was about 18. Have lived all over England and for the last 20 years here in Brentwood Essex England.

Synyster · 51-55, M
Yup ... born and raised in good ole Ottawa. I had the luxury of living in LA for 5 years, then came back home to reality.
SW-User
@Synyster At least you got that chance.. so cool!
Synyster · 51-55, M

No, but the place that was my hometown no longer exists.
SW-User

xixgun · M
@SW-User Don't misunderstand me, there is still A town there with the same name, but it most certainly is not the place I call my hometown.
SW-User

No, but I live nearby.
4meAndyou · F
No. I would have to drive an hour and a half to get to the house where I spent most of my childhood, and I would have to drive 2000 miles to get to the place where I was born and where I spent every summer until I was 17.
GlassDog · 46-50, M
Close. I'm probably about two miles from where I grew up, and less than a mile from where I lived in my 20s. My family have been in this area for many centuries.

I spent my life trying to get away from it, but now inadvertently find myself stuck back there again and nothing's changed.
For a couple years I lived in a neighboring town, but I moved back. Bought the house next to where my Dad grew up.
SW-User
@DayDreaming2 nice:)
SW-User
Yes, and I’m currently staying in the suburb where I spent my high school years.
SW-User
Nope. Thank goodness I don't still live in my rough Chicago neighborhood 😂.
No, thank God. I travel full time, and try to avoid going back as long as i can
Indy74 · 46-50, F
I moved for quite a few years, but I came back to my hometown.
SW-User
@Indy74 yeah.. same here. :)
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Close, but better. I'd never live in that particular suburb again willingly.
Northerner · 70-79, M
No, made the break 17 years ago, thank goodness. Left the rat race behind.
SW-User
