Tell me about the history of the region that you live at.

I’m from a small town in the outskirts of Leicester in the UK, that used to part of an ancient kingdom called Mercia back in A.D. it was also a settlement that was conquered by the Romans who then gave us savages infrastructure and unfortunately brought Christianity into the country as well. Also Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and Stanford were ruled by Danes as part of their conquest of England before the English kings and queens sent them on their way.

Leicester is also in the region called the Midlands (wonder why it’s called that?) also Birmingham, birthplace of heavy metal 🤘🏻 started a musical movement that will never back down! Sorry! Had to say it! 😆

Any way... what’s the history of the region where you live? Was it the foundation of a new country? A site of a former battle that took place centuries ago? I’m curious.

I live in a region formerly ruled by the Six nations Indians. It's a green and fertile area of rivers and waterfalls where many crossings and portages were originally needed to travel about. It's a good place to live. We are prosperous and free of discrimination.
