Gun owners are scared of their own shadow- true or false?

I've heard people say this. Is it true?

According to that reasoning every police officer, ex police officer, armed forces member and most veterans, hoodlum, organized mobster, bodyguard and dictator are afraid of their own shadow. The logic escapes me.

Well I'm not a gun owner myself anymore but I think that this is not that simple. People who own guns do so out of fear. Some gun owners do get a macho bravery out of it and like to flaunt that possibly in the hopes of impressing someone.

On the other hand there are people like my brother who live in a high crime area and who owns a business. He also has a family. He owns a gun out of fear that he will not be able to protect his family and his business.

Thats not true at all. I own Guns and I'm not scared. However my Guns don't define who I am. I have them because I like to shoot em. There are fun sports like skeet shooting and target shooting. I don't hunt animals and I'm not waiting for no Revolution. And if someone was break into my house and if my dog didnt get em first, I would get them with my Katana before grabbing a Gun. I used to take Kenjutsu. And my Katana's are out in the open. Where my guns are locked up in a gun safe.

Shadows are difficult to deal with; you cannot run away from them, you cannot catch them and you cannot even shoot them

False. Only concerned of their 2nd Amendment rights being taken away
