Does having a photo of yourself on your profile automatically mean you get random weird private messages from people?

@Wraithorn: Do they make me look nuts? Because I'm totally nuts. Yet, I don't really send people weird messages.

@SolitaryFriend: Well your eyes do look a tad wild in that pic. Although in order to understand why the weird messages are coming to you I would have to go scratching around in the minds of those dudes. I'm not sure I want to look into those minds right now. Maybe another day. :-)

@Wraithorn: Yeah, I can be pretty intense. I may have even been a bit high that day (I can struggle with mania). Yeah, I've kind of been there and done that with the scratching. I'm not willing to go too deep into it either right now.

I can only imagine. It's encouraging to see people, especially women, who are getting relatively straight forward messages.

Yeah. The crowd here could definitely be a lot worse in that department.

You could try a variety oof picture. Facial hair, without facial hair, a hat... only your left hand. change it up a little and see what you find!

I have had a couple. I did get more "random messages" after I put the second one up but they were not weird...they are people I now actually talk to a lot.

That's cool. I'd actually prefer a straight forward conversation. I'm glad you had that experience with it.
