@LindaM Yes, I hear you... Since my children are all adopted, I had to make the choice to adopt, and as a part of that process, a choice to love them was also involved. I think that sometimes we make the choice to love without even seeing it as a choice, and other times the choice to love is more obvious.

@ms20182878 deciding to adopt would be a huge choice and would change a little childs life...that was very good of you and your wife :)

My family, both sides, have(since ever) bold women and bold men that choosed and valued each other as peers.
So my ancestors as my daughters.

I had past and living examples on what is posible to choose and live against mainstream.

And my own fight to build mature relationships gave me more clues, even and perhaps cos of the failures, than any abstract claims on what SHOUD be but few know HOW TO.

What I know for certain cos I´d been there is that when about relationships, both gender clash and all gender unilateral symetrical views on this is as one-eyed as the Cyclops.

With my true deep rooted respect and admiration for all woman and you, enough said from my side.
