Do you ever hear your parents voice pop into your head?

I can hear my mother say you look with your eyes and not your hands sometimes in stores. Growing up I used to take things off shelves to look at them. My mother would slap me upside the head and say that to me each time I was caught. Hell she beat me over the head with a calendar once.
