The options were break his jaw or walk away, I would have broke it if I thought he would have stood and fought... Have to disagree with you, only an idiot would stick around people who undervalue or disrespect them. You can always get another job.

Yes. I was in a department at a large company where the director left to go start a new department. Over the course of a few months, others from my department followed her to the new department. This started a feud between her and her replacement who was now the director of the department I was still in. A job opening came up in this new department that would have been a perfect fit for me, but this new director blocked me from applying. She told me point blank that she would rather see me leave the company than transfer to that other department. So, I found the job I have now and quit. That was 18 years ago.

I have a couple of bad bosses. I learned that you can't do anything about it because they are the boss and if you try then it's a career ending move at that company, even if you're right. So the only alternative is to find a new job. However I would never accept their bad behaviour as it sends a message to both them and the company that their bulling or abusive behaviour is acceptable.

Yes awhile back made the mistake of getting into a relationship with him, he was married so I figured it would just be sex but I was wrong, things got stupid at work and I quit.

Yes.
My first job.
What a fuck face, but I suppose you don't need to be a people person to run a pizza joint.
