Blood test?

I’m in my home town and I’m the one delegated to pick up Grandma and take her to the hospital clinic for her Volga blood test. As the time draws near to pick her up, my mom calls the hospital and learns there are already 250 people there waiting, all with the same appointment time. “Oh well,” I thought. “Just so they have somewhere for Grandma to sit while we wait.” Just then I remembered that Grandma has been dead for 30 years. Oh, and Mom has been gone for a few years, too. I can go back to sleep in my own bed, hundreds of miles from my home town.
Has anyone ever heard of a Volga blood test? I kind of doubt it.

I retired after 50 years of medicine, never heard of it. I bet it is something that sounds like it.

@samueltyler2 Could be, but dreams have different rules. A friend of mine Googled and I think he discovered some medication named Volga.

@Poppies I missed that fact, that they were both dead. Weird.

@samueltyler2 wow, yes there is such a medication. It is used to treatbdiabetes and control blood pressure. I didn't spend too much time on it, i have never heard of it in the US.
