Scenarios to stop them crossing into the US?

As the Central American Migrants wend their way towards the US Border there has been the first death. A second wave of hundreds tried to force their way into Mexico at the Guatemala Border. One man died after being shot in the head by a rubber bullet fired by Mexican Police with hundreds more injured.
Fights are breaking out in the food lines. This is truly going to get out of control real soon. More and more people are joining the caravan and who knows how many will end up massing at the US border. 50,000?
I sure hope that sanity prevails though I can not see the US simply allowing these people to flood into the Country unchecked.
Maybe they will all be held in Militarily Patrolled Camps?
If the UN was worth anything they would step in.
@Gusman Why not, is the question? As you say, certainly handleable.

@Mamapolo2016 I think it has a lot to do with the locals not wanting to give asylum to outsiders. The perception is that these people aregiven everything they require, for nothing. While the country accepting them have very many people on the poverty line, homeless, etc. To fund the refugees, Governments say they will have to make funding cuts in other areas and it is usually from those who can least afford it that suffer. They can not fight back.
Only at the ballot box. This is why Countries do not voluntarily take refugees. The Politicians fear being voted out.
As I continue to say Piss weak.
@Gusman We already take in more annually than anybody and everybody thinks WE should do more, and we should. But this global nonsense breaks down real fast when you say, well, then, how about YOU take in some of the world's stateless citizens?
Would any nation allow 50000 unknowns to flood in unchecked?

@Mamapolo2016 No, that is why there is going to be a huge problem. With deaths

I'm getting deja vu. I remember reading about another caravan trying to come into the US months ago. What happened to that one?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Madelyn As far as I remember that was a much smaller caravan. Although 1200 set out, only about 300 reach the Tijuana Mexico border. As far as I know they are still there awaiting a decision by the US as to whether they will grant them asylum. Which seems highly unlikely

Start shooting them before they cross.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@TheProphet I don't think that will happen. Not wholesale shooting anyway. Individuals may die by....?
More likely to be held in makeshift camps on the Mexico Side of the border.
Who will construct these camps? Know not I.
Going to get messy though.
