As typical canadians, yes I have a basement. It has a rec room, 2 bedrooms, a washroom, and another tv. It's a fully furnished and finished floor.

Basements are extremely rare in Aust, although i really dont know why. I think they are a great idea. My daughter has an attic in the new house they just built, also now very common here
