Finding a job is easy. But finding the right opportunity that honors your talent and gives you the environment that fosters growth is.

Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
Jobs are hard to find if you look like a punk or your body is full of piercings or tattoos because employers take one look and their immediate thought is (I am not employing him or her no matter how well educated they are )and I don't blame them .
SW-User
@Rhodesianman lucky for me I ain't got tattoos or piercings
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
So maybe your being to fussy .You know what they say (its easier to get a job if your in work )It proves that your willing to work no matter the job even if its not your perfect job.
@Rhodesianman And where I live they don’t discriminate based upon looks if you’re not dealing with the public; working in stock and mailrooms. Some public facing jobs do hire people with tattoos and piercings because that’s also their customers, young adults, students.

Easier than ever before in the USA

Jersey is one of the worst states because Dems run it. But if you are willing to start at min wage there should be plenty of openings@SW-User
SW-User
@AnneHoney all I applied for was min wage work
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
Difficult to figure out one persons experiences. But overall companies are desperate for workers. Most stores like Costco are understaffed. Construction is begging for people. Can’t go anywhere without seeing help wanted signs. 7.1 million jobs and less than 5 million looking.@SW-User
Its easy bro i heard there are lots of jobs out there if youre willing to them like labor work n stuff. Most people quit ither because they are too sensitive or lazy. But there are jobs most people dont count those as jobs but they are. How do you think they pyrmaids got built... With hard work. Its the only way bro iether that or sell drugs or become a rapper

It matters where you live
royalblue1193 · 31-35, M
At minimum you have to have a master's degree
Mysti · 51-55, F
@royalblue1193 because you need a Masters Degree to fix a car.
AnneHoney · 36-40, F
There are far more jobs open now that require only HS than specifically require a Masters. Employment companies are advising not to get a Masters.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@royalblue1193 That's not true. People from specialized high schools are the most wanted here nowadays. Qualified craftsmen skilled in manual work.
Boallods · 26-30, M
Not in the US. I speak as someone who's only lived there during the summer. Trust me, it's way harder in most of the world.
GHOSTT · 26-30, M
I don't thing it's hard.
What's your qualification ?
SW-User
@GHOSTT I have a diploma from highschool
Mysti · 51-55, F
Go to UPS they can't seem to get enough help. Especially this time of year.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
tons of them out there if you don't mind working,
SW-User
@MarineBob probably out of state or country
GHOSTT · 26-30, M
I don't thing it's hard.
What's your qualification ?
Its easy if you're qualified or have connections
Depends on what kind of work you’re willing to do. The Post Office is hiring, as are many grocery chains, department stores and call centers.
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard min wage stuff
@SW-User You have to start somewhere. And most of those jobs are more than minimum wage, with room to move up, plus some also provide benefits. If you’re looking to start out making 100k annually, on a high school diploma, you’re not going to find that. But that’s not the same as there being no jobs.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
It's only difficult for me because I don't want the jobs that are available.
