Well, they do call them "comfort foods" for a reason. For most people, the feeling of being full is itself comforting. Add to that the pleasure of the taste, one bite after another of your preferred flavors. I used to love really good homemade macaroni and cheese, for example. Each bite was creamy, cheesy, warm....and comforting for me.

But I can also understand that some people get so stressed and worked up they can't eat. While living at home with my parents, my brother developed an ulcer. Our mother was quite a horror.

Trust me it’s easy, like other people use drugs or alcohol. Wouldn’t bother me if I never had a drink again but don’t you dare take my pizza away. 🤨

Everyone has their thing. I like to bake and enjoy the goodies when I’m down.

If it tastes good,you forget the bad things.

Not everyone does.. my daughter doesn't.. but if I am stressed or fed up I will get myself a treat, something nice to eat.. I suppose it's a quick and easy fix.. a way to make you feel a little better without much effort.
