Is it okay to take a handbag to an interview? Ive been told both you can and cant. Surely you can to hold your stuff likresume and purse and phone etc

I've never heard that you shouldn't take a handbag into an interview. It's normal for a woman to carry one. It's generally expected women will have their handbags with them. FYI, when you go on the interview, shut off your phone before you go in or put it on mute. The interviewer will be annoyed if they're interrupted. Common courtesy type of thing.

And, don't be nervous. They need to hire someone for the job. If you've managed to get an interview, it means there is something about you that made them want to interview you.
