Do you live alone or do you share?

I live alone. Well, that's not entirely true; I've got two cats. I've come to really enjoy my solo existence. I shared with my partner of fifteen years and it was an adjustment when we separated, it was tough.
But I got through it.
Can't really imagine sharing again.
What's the best and worse of living alone for you?

On days like today, when I feel gross and toxic, it's nice to hang out in my greasy cocoon and not have to worry about affecting/infecting another...

I would definitely prefer living with someone, though, under the right circumstances.

@Cavedweller If he was equally desperate, maybe... hah! Not really desperate, but open and sincere... I'm not sure if what I'm looking for is possible, but it's what can only be described in short as "true love." Anything less seems a vain effort, and the pain of loss/absence is worse with each passing year.

YOU CANT FIX STUPID.
Truly sorry you wanna live on a desert island all alone,. Other then being in blessed to be a fat person like 400 lbs and being alone are life top 2 biggest hurts.
But it's correct, not many have that great I love you so much inner smile.
