@SweetMae: Terrible- but there was mass unemployment in the UK at the time.I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

@SweetMae: It is. I need to be doing things; I think that's why I started knitting last winter. Now every friend and family member has a hat or scarf.

@bijouxbroussard: I knit for charity. Warm hats are always appreciated.
