Would you ever vote for a person with no political experience for president, and a past of drug use?
Poll - Total Votes: 10Yes, I would vote for someone who misbehaved when young. I believe people can change.
No, I never would vote for someone who misbehaved a lot during youth. A tiger's stripes don't change
Maybe, it would depend on if I identified with their past.
Maybe, it would depend on the individual person.
You can only vote on one answer.
This is certainly a hypothetical question, but I'm eager to hear people's leanings.
I believe I have a good grasp on politics, and would be rather good at it, because I'm diplomatic, empathetic, and I think I understand the "big picture" fairly often.
I would enjoy serving the community on the broader scale (affecting life even after I am physically gone) by serving in political office. I believe I understand the plights of the poor, the perspectives of the wealthy, and most of the folks in between. I get along with people that have religion, all types, or those that do not, city-dwellers or rural-folk, etc.
I believe this would give me a great ability to serve the entire public, and that I would excel at this type of endeavor.
But, I would "vet" very poorly. I was a junkie, and I have bad credit... So, no chance, right?
Would you ever vote for a CURRENTLY POOR man, with bad credit, and a bad past - BUT sincerely feels different about life? Could you believe it, and with your vote?
