What advice would you give to somebody that wants to get a puppy?
Never had a dog before.

Choose one that has similar energy as you. If you're very active outdoors, match that energy in the dog you get. If you're more lower energy, get one that is ok with that. Also, they are wonderful, but a lot of work. You need to be consistent and patient with them. And please be sure you have plenty of time to spend with it. If you work a lot and or are going to school, you should wait before getting one. Good luck. 💜
