If all phones are going to be like $700+ now how am i going ro afford a new one when my current phone dies?

@paper for eg. I pay $100 per month. I got: iphone7 unlimited calls texts and 30G of data.
My plan runs out in 3 months where I’ll get a iPhone 10. And keep paying $100 per month.
