Why do i feel so guilty for killing a spider?

I killed a big one with hairspray and now I feel bad. The poor thing was struggling before he gave up and died

As long as they stay on the ceiling I leave them alone. It's only if they come down to join me that they're doomed. I react badly to insect bites so it's self defense.

@bijouxbroussard same, if a bug gets too close I scream and start trying to kill it.
