Do you remember as a child how you thought all if not most adults were mature honourable? It's funny now isn't it?

If not that what did you think ?

I grew up around members of my family....while the degree of maturity varied, they were honorable.
As I aged, I came to realize that not everyone was as honorable as we are.

I did. I thought all senior people were wise and good hearted.
While I was spared the shackles of mediocrity by the eccentricity of my mentors and parents in my youth, I was also spared my innocence, and I learned harshly how childish adults could be. It was as ugly as it was exquisite, and I was branded like an animal and groomed like a philosopher's prodigy. It's the truth.

Ikr. I'm an adult child.

I used to think all adults stop behaving like school kids, bullies stop bullying, weak students learn to stand up for themselves, everyone gets a job and no one dies super early

Yep. technically. I haven't grown up yet.
