In elementary school, did they send the girls to the nurses office or some room to check for spine problems?

My school did it. It was for Scoliosis. It was humiliating because you would bend over and the doctor would run both hands over you feeling from the top to the very bottom. You felt very exposed. (36)

The did that to us at our school. It was to detect scoliosis. It was elementary school, but I can not remember the grade, and I can not remember if I had to take my shirt off or not.

But I did think it weird. I think they made our school nurse do it instead of calling in a real doctor.

I don't like any of that kind of stuff including vaccinations. I don't trust it or them for any of that kind of private stuff. It should be the role of the parents.

HAHAHAHA nurses at schools? No, that doesn't exist here. And even if it did, they wouldn't care enough to do check- ups, they'd only send students if it was urgent lol.

I'm 32 and they never did that in my school

I never had to do that and I'm 35.

Though I was a boy, I remember having to do that. I think I had to strip to underwear too. I didn't like the nurse's office. I'm 51.
