Have you ever felt like you're done being nice?

I'm not done being nice, but I am done letting people violate my personal boundaries, drag me into their personal drama, and guilt or pressure me into doing things I'm not comfortable doing. I am working on being more assertive, but I don't really want to be mean. It can be a delicate balancing act at times, though.

Yes but I’ve stopped threatening to kill people, it’s always a struggle to find the right balance online.

I've had that feeling many times recently. I am too nice and I really need to do something about it.
