Weirdest injury you've had or seen?

I was in hospital for surgery and i was in a shared room with this American woman. She was nice enough but was tough to say the least, loads of tattoos, scars, been to prison, and more.
We both arrived the same day, she asks me what i was in for, so i said hip surgery and returned the question. She had a knife in her waistband for "no particular reason" and was climbing a fence when her trouser leg got caught so she fell and the knife stabbed into her. Not only that but back in America she had a gun in her waistband and shot her you know where.
I said she should maybe stop putting stuff in her waistband, have her on Facebook now and she seems to have cleaned up her act which is good i guess.
