I can't pretend to know the emotional stress this must cause for you, but I do suffer from visual migraines, and after I was rear ended three years ago by a driver texting while driving, the visual migraines became worse. One side of my face sagged down so I thought I was having a stroke. That stopped on the same day while I was in the ER.

My eyes would "cross" but when I looked in the mirror my eyes were normal. I would have spells of vertigo while I was working or driving, and it was quite dangerous. I learned that the only way to cope was to cover one eye. Having single eye vision deleted the vertigo.

I can't advise you other than to suggest you try very hard to deal with what you have been given, as I did in a way much more minor.

For starters, you are going to have to pretend you don't hear anything. You have to become very good at pretending. Look at other people around you and if they are all looking scared and looking at the door, then someone is really trying to break in. Above all, remain calm, because your brain will create new pathways eventually. Walking and exercise make that happen faster.

I can't imagine what this must be like . It's great that you are able to share your experience, but I'm doubtful there are many here that are qualified to really help with your condition. I think you'll have t look beyond the scope of this site for the answers you seek.
